Production / Assembly Line Manager

Job Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive assembly operations, including managerial responsibilities
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field
-
Proven ability to manage vehicle production lines within time, cost, and quality constraints
-
Strong knowledge of automotive assembly standards, specifications, and quality control
-
Fluent in Mandarin and English for collaboration with business partners/ suppliers from China / Japan.
Salary
Up to RM15k (depending on experience)
Job Description
-
Oversee and to lead about 150 staffs in the assembly line operations to ensure production is completed within the allocated man-hours and available resources.
-
Ensure that vehicles are assembled in accordance with the Target Agreement, free from defects or failures.
-
Prepare and implement the production forecast and schedule, and report monthly production performance to the Head of Department.
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product quality.
-
Ensure CKD (Completely Knocked Down) and CBU (Completely Built-Up) claims reports are accurate and up-to-date, follow up with principals, and monitor the delivery of claim parts.

Provide training and guidance to line staff, and manage all aspects of administration, documentation, and safety within the department.
